July 11, 2008 8:43 pm Canadian PoliticsAppointing a priest would have been better than appointing Preston Manning to Science advisory panel. At least a priest might not be racist and manipulative. Preston Manning, the founder of Reform party was today appointed by the Conservatives to the Science advisory panel, further moving Canada’s parliament and decision making into the church courtyard.
So kids, next time you go to the science class, take your bible with you (even if you are not a Christian). Uncle Manning is back!

You’ll know the committee is in trouble if Preston’s first recommendation is to call for creationism to be taught in schools alongside evolution as a scientific theory.
