Nearly half the delegates at the last Leadership convention were young Liberals. It's amazing to realize that nearly half of the delegates who elected our Prime Minister were under 26.

Paul Martin once said that “Canada is an exceptional place to live today, unrivalled in its vibrant economy, its healthy social programs and its compassion for the nations of the world. But it can be even better”. This statement strongly resonates with my vision. When I came to Canada at the age of 23, with nearly a decade of political experience in India, the world's largest democracy, I discovered a country unsurpassed in the world in its vibrant economy and diverse political community. We are all- dedicated to making this the best country it can be.

Multiculturalism cannot succeed, without the active support and participation by young Canadians, who will carve the future for our tomorrow.

I strongly believe that Canada is the first country of a new global age, where borders are shrinking and economies are increasingly spreading across the oceans.

The new generation should explore and exploit the opportunities of multiculturalism in furthering our Canadian values into international markets and set
